Our inaugural Architecture+Art Contest, for K-8th graders, was announced in June of 2006. In the three age categories, there was to be an Honor Award, Merit Award, and three Citation Awards (the jury decided to award four Citations in the first two categories this year). The jury for the contest consisted of Lester Escobal, artist Susan Engle, and AIA*PV Board member, Scott Wilets, AIA. All winners will receive a commemorative certificate and the Honor Award in each category will receive a $50 gift certificate, and the Merit Award will receive a $25 gift certificate to the AIA Bookstore in Washington, DC.
